The Start
Luna Compassionate Association was founded by Andrew Campbell and Chet Hylton who grew up in the community of Luna, St. Mary but later migrated to the United States. Andrew Campbell went home to visit one year and was struck by fact that one student asked him for books instead of toys or clothes. This made him think about how many other students in the community needed books for school and decided to do something about it. He connected with Chet Hylton and they formed Luna Compassionate Association.
