Luna [District] is a small mountain village located in the Southeastern hills of the parish of St Mary, Jamaica, and it is the home of Paisley Primary School. Luna is approximately twenty miles from the country’s capital, Kingston, and is not far from the Oracabessa Bay Fish Sanctuary. The community has a small population of approximately 2,000 people, the majority of whom are subsistent farmers.
